At the PlayStation Experience 2017, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto revealed that there will likely be free DLCs for Monster Hunter World. New monsters are planned for the expansions.
In an interview with the Japanese publisher Famitsu (Gematsu), the producer of Monster Hunter World revealed that free expansions are planned after the release. The interview took place in a livestream at the PlayStation Experience 2017.
The developers want to release free updates after the launch and hope that Monster Hunter World will be played for a long time. The DLCs are expected to include new monsters that players can hunt, capture, and loot. Recently, Capcom also announced that there will be no loot boxes in Monster Hunter World.
Which monsters these will be in detail was not revealed in the interview – according to Tsujimoto, information will follow.
Monster Hunter World will be released in January, on January 26, 2018, on PS4 and Xbox One. When the action RPG will come to PC is still unknown.
