Capcom has announced new dates for the beta tests of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne in a tweet. This time, the Xbox One is also included alongside the PS4.
The next round of MHW: Iceborne tests will take place just before the release of the expansion on September 6. However, the two betas will not run simultaneously.
This is the date for the PS4 test: The next beta on the PS4 will begin in just a few days:
- Start: August 30, at 9:01 AM
- End: September 1, at 8:59 AM
This is the date for the Xbox One test: Xbox players will soon be able to try out MHW: Iceborne for the first time. The beta on the Xbox One starts right after the PS4 test:
- Start: September 2, at 9:01 AM
- End: September 4, at 8:59 AM

What content will there be? The latest beta brings a surprise for players. For the first time in MHW, you will be able to face the legendary dragon Velkhana.

In free exploration, there is also a chance to encounter more new monsters from Iceborne, as was the case with Nargacuga.
During the beta, you can also buy all 14 types of weapons and try out the new moves.
These are the rewards: For completing the beta test, all participants will receive a special item pack for the full version of Iceborne. It contains various consumable items that will make exploring the new snowy area easier.
