Save Your Potions
In Monster Hunter World, you only have a limited number of potions available. You can carry 10 potions and 10 mega potions in your pouch. So to succeed in your missions, you need to manage them sparingly.
A good tip is to wait until a teammate with an area effect uses a healing potion. With this skill, you are influenced by your colleagues’ items.
Otherwise, you can always run around with a half-filled health bar. The likelihood that the monster will deal you that much damage is very low after all.
Take Care of Yourself
Even in the expansion of Monster Hunter World, it is important to keep an eye on yourself. You should always have Nullberries or evasion rolls ready for abnormal status effects.
If a teammate is stunned, rather refrain from knocking him out. You could deal him damage and potentially kill him.

Secure Loot
The most important thing in Monster Hunter World is farming. You should always try to use your playtime effectively. This way, you’ll quickly get good equipment for further battles.

Leave the Wounding to Others
With Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, a new weapon tool came into play. The Clutch Claw lets you pull towards enemies and execute powerful attacks.
An important feature of this new weapon is the wounding of monsters. This makes a body part more vulnerable to damage and easier to break.
This attack is, however, very dangerous, as the monster can also defend itself. Therefore, you should leave the duty of using the Clutch Claw to other players. It’s most effective if only one of four people takes care of it.
Respond to as Many SOS Signals as Possible
One way to get quests in Monster Hunter World is via SOS signals. You can join other players who need help with their mission.
You should definitely respond to SOS signals whose target is still too difficult for you. This way, you might also get loot when the quest fails. The other players won’t mind if you rush to help them and die three times in the process.
Take Gear for Maximum Damage
The most important thing in Monster Hunter World is known to be a player’s damage. So you should always ensure that you have the right damage set ready for your 14 weapon types.
Even against opponents like Teostra, who come with a lot of elemental damage, you should go for it. “Resistance is for the weak!” So you should give up on elemental resistances as quickly as possible, your mission will be over sooner that way. Whether due to high damage or because it fails doesn’t matter.
