Since today, the tempered Kulve Taroth is active in Monster Hunter World. However, the monster is only available on PS4 and Xbox One for a limited time.
The Elder Dragon Kulve Taroth is available in its tempered form in Monster Hunter World. Players can acquire new relic weapons, and there is also a Gamma armor to craft.
Additionally, there is news about the upcoming events on PC. The tempered Teostra will arrive at the beginning of January.

Tempered Kulve Taroth
What kind of monster is this? The Kulve Taroth belongs to the Elder Dragons and was first introduced in a special siege quest in Monster Hunter World. It is huge and has its own area where you can fight it in several phases. During the battle, players can complete certain tasks to increase their reward level.
The goal is to sever the monster’s horns. If successful, the group receives an extra reward. The higher the reward level after the battle, the better the loot. You can find all the detailed information about the siege quest with us.

This is new: The tempered Kulve Taroth is stronger than the normal version. It deals greater damage and has an additional mode in which it becomes more aggressive and starts to glow in the upper body area.
If it is in this mode and players manage to complete certain tasks, there will be rainbow-colored rewards. From these, new relic weapons can be obtained.
These weapons resemble the previous golden relic weapons but are darker and more brass-colored. The special feature of these weapons is that they come with a skill bonus.

Depending on the weapon type, these new weapons either have a bonus on element crits or on status crits. Additionally, there is a Taroth Gamma armor to craft. For this, you will need KT Kaiserchunks, which can be obtained by completing the siege quest.
How long do you have to farm? You can hunt the tempered Kulve Taroth until January 4. However, this will not be the last chance to obtain the weapons. The monster will return at regular intervals.

Tempered Teostra is on the way, Behemoth starts tomorrow
Some events are also on the way for PC. While the tempered Vaal Hazak is still wreaking havoc, the Behemoth will arrive tomorrow. The huge Behemoth is part of a crossover between Monster Hunter World and Final Fantasy 14.
Is the Behemoth also time-limited? No. The Behemoth remains a permanent monster in the game. However, there is an extreme version of it. This is time-limited and will come at a later date. Our guide to Behemoth reveals everything you need to know.
The next tempered monster is the Teostra. From its tickets, you can craft a Gamma armor and obtain the decorative armor from Dante’s set.

When does the tempered Teostra come? The Elder Dragon starts on January 4 on PC and is expected to last until January 18. You can read the complete event calendar on Capcom’s official site.
