A release of Monster Hunter World for PC is still far away. It’s not expected until autumn. However, the similarly structured Dauntless is already available, and with the Evolving Wilds update, the game really picks up.
The cooperative action RPG Dauntless has received the major “Evolving Wilds” update, which introduces a lot of new features that benefit the title.
With the big “Evolving Wilds” update, the developers of the online action RPG Dauntless bring a lot of new content to the game. Things that players have been longing for and that enhance the entire game. This includes even more exciting encounters with the Behemoths and exploration of the game world is now rewarded.

A lot of improvements for Dauntless – now also in German
With the current major update, you can look forward to a lot of improvements:
- Reworked Axe Mechanics: Swinging an axe now causes more damage, but it also carries more risk, as you can be hit while swinging the weapon.
- New Warfork: After defeating Behemoths, you can craft powerful warforks from resources found on their bodies.
- Improved encounters with Behemoths: Shrike, Skraev, and Moonreaver Behemoths now provide new challenges, making the fights more exciting. Next, the creatures Embermane, Quillshot, and more will be revamped.
- German as a new language: Dauntless is now also playable in Spanish, Italian, French, and Brazilian Portuguese.
- New interesting locations with rewards: Exploring the game world is now rewarded.
- New tutorial: The entry point has been improved.
- Performance improvements: Especially in the hub city Ramsgate, but also during hunts, the game runs smoother.
With this big update, Dauntless is now significantly more fun, and the fans are reacting very positively to the changes.
Dauntless is currently on its way to open beta and represents a competition to Monster Hunter World.
