Monster Gems are particularly rare – Use the Melting Pot for that
It is recommended to exchange the golden Wyverian Prints primarily for monster gems. You need the gems to upgrade your High-Rank Armor .
You can also obtain the gems by killing or capturing monsters. To get the gems, you must target the right body parts of the monsters. Sometimes, you can obtain the gems when carving off tails. Overall, however, their drop rate is quite low. A gem is not guaranteed when farming monsters, and you usually need multiple attempts to get the coveted item.
With the golden Wyverian Print, you can leisurely walk to the Melting Pot and select a monster gem there. So with the limited-time quests, you have the opportunity to do so every week.
