Capcom confirmed that the Behemoth will arrive in August for Monster Hunter World. The new DLC monster originally comes from Final Fantasy XIV. Gameplay is expected to be shown soon.
The exact release date for the Behemoth is still unknown. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto revealed in an episode of Monster Hunter Radio that the king of all beasts will be released in August.

Who is the Behemoth? The Behemoth is a strong, recurring foe in the Final Fantasy series. Behemoth is primarily characterized by its incredible physical strength and defense. It is also the first monster to be taken from another franchise for Monster Hunter. In return, the Rathalos comes to Final Fantasy XIV.
Our Final Fantasy expert Irie has already described the Behemoth in detail:
First gameplay of the Behemoth coming in July
On July 15, the Behemoth will be showcased for the first time: Capcom will hold the “The Hunting Thanksgiving 2018” event at the Makuhari Messe. Here, Japanese players can try the mission with the Behemoth. Capcom will also stream the first gameplay with the beast live.
Many fans speculated that the Behemoth would arrive in July. This would have made sense, as the big Summer Twilight Festival is coming up soon. From July 13 to July 27, hunters can replay old event quests here. There will also be special content just for the festival.
