It is still a long way until the release of Monster Hunter Wilds, but fans do not have to wait long for their hunt. An open beta is said to be planned, and the preload is already in place, but not for all platforms.
Which platform gets to go first? Capcom has planned two open beta tests, but the PlayStation gets the first shot. The first test runs from October 29, 2024, to October 31, 2024, and is exclusively reserved for Sony fans. Other platforms are allowed to play as well, but their testing period is shifted to November 1, 2024, to November 4, 2024.
The developers communicated on x.com that Xbox and PC do not need to fear. They will also have a preload date. This has been set for October 30, 2024, at 4:00 PM German time.

What can I expect? In the test, you will discover two missions from the story and additionally be able to customize your character and Polico. Fans can participate in the first mission, which is the Chatacabra hunt, serving as a tutorial. In the second mission, hunters will be taken to the enormous area of Saikrii. There, they will have the task of participating in the Doshaguma hunt – you need to defeat the alpha of the pack.
