Here is the new trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds:
New area reminiscent of the Dwarf city from The Hobbit films
This is what the trailer shows: The new trailer for Monster Hunter Worlds takes players to the “Oilwell Basin” and into the Everforge, the Eternal Forge.
The area evokes the vibe of a fiery Dwarf city when the furnaces are fired up and everything is burning and working. It reminded me of the scenes from the “Hobbit Trilogy” when the Dwarf city inside the mountain Erebor comes to life, and the Dwarves fight against the dragon Smaug.
These monsters can be seen: There are 3 monsters to be seen. A player on YouTube describes the monsters as:
- Oil octopus that shoots oil instead of ink
- A metal fire monkey – to me, it looked like a fiery Godzilla
- And a wyvern – the “Black Flame”
What are the comments like? The comments on reddit and YouTube for the new trailer seem enthusiastic.
Fans say the new area looks “otherworldly” – the monster designs are getting better and better.
The overall vibe around Monster Hunter Wilds is currently very good, and players are joyfully receiving every new announcement. And it won’t be long until you can go monster hunting yourself in an open beta: How good are all the monsters revealed so far for Monster Hunter Wilds?
