Sharp fangs are needed in Monster Hunter Wilds very early on to craft armor. For the Chata hip ring, one of the first armors in the game, you need a sharp fang. There are some low-rank monsters that drop sharp fangs in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Monster Hunter Wilds: Best places to farm sharp fangs
Who drops sharp fangs? As of now (March 2025), the following opponents drop sharp fangs:
- Gajios (Windebene, Karminwald)
- Talioth (Windebene) Piragill (Karminwald)
- Kranodath (Oil Springs Basin)
If you want to craft the Chata hip ring right after hunting the Chatacabra, you will need a sharp fang. The beast Gajios on the Windebene is the best option here. Gajios guarantee sharp fangs as drops.
Gajios are part crocodile, part sawfish that inhabit the rivers of the Windebene and the Karminwald. Look for the crocodiles in the rivers of areas 8 and 10 on the Windebene and you should find several.
