Fixing the Monster Hunter Wilds Black Screen
If you want to fix the black screen issue, you need to do the following:
- Step 1: Start the game
- Step 2: Go to the options
- Step 3: Click on the fourth icon in the “Graphics” bar
- Step 4: Click on “Upscaling (high-resolution imaging)”
- Step 5: Scroll all the way down on the right side and then click on “Disabled”
- Step 6: Confirm the changes
After that, you should no longer get a black screen in the character creator and can finally focus on creating your character.
A highlight of the beta is the ability to transfer your created character into the full game upon release. Players are showing a lot of creativity, drawing inspiration from classic characters in the Monster Hunter series or breathing new life into their previous heroes from Monster Hunter World and other titles.
