In Monster Hunter Wilds, you can start the quest “The Apple of Her Eye” after downloading the first Title Update to give Alma a new pair of glasses. But where does the quest start, and what do you need to do for it? We will show you.
How do I start Alma’s quest? To start Alma’s quest, you must have downloaded Update 1.010.00 first. After that, log in to Monster Hunter Wilds and speak with Alma first. She will tell you about her glasses. Now the quest “Blurred Vision” begins. You can find all the quest steps here:
- Talk to Alma to start the quest (the location doesn’t matter, but we recommend the Crimson Forest)
- Now go from the base camp of the Crimson Forest to the marked river and talk to the Wudwud “Champel”
- Look around for a Wudwud with glasses
- Then go to the “Wudwud Hideout” in the Crimson Forest and talk to Donk
- Rest until “Night” and “Abundance” are active and then return to the Wudwud Hideout
- Talk to the Wudwud “Donk” at the entrance
- Gather information from the celebrating Wudwuds on the roof of the hideout (can be reached by vines)
- Talk to 4 Wudwuds that are marked with exclamation points
- Visit Wilbrill, who is near the campfire in the Wudwud camp (not on the roof, but below in the covered camp)
- Wilbrill is hanging in a nest of leaves and sleeping
- Obtain Eastland Honey
- Can be acquired through trading with Ren
- Can be obtained with some luck by collecting honey
- Deliver the Eastland Honey to Wilbrill to complete the quest
What rewards are there? Once you have completed the quest, you will have the opportunity to craft the Strategist Glasses and the Square Glasses for Alma. Additionally, you can now equip Alma with new skins and change her glasses. In the future, more skins for Alma may appear, which you can then add to her wardrobe.
Those were all the important steps for Alma’s quest. If you are looking for more guides on monsters or weapons, we have the right overview with all the help for you. You can find more about it here: Monster Hunter Wilds: All Guides, Starter Tips, and Information Overview
