Lasting Buffs with Hunting Horn
Hunting horn fans and skeptics, pay attention: With the new feature where you can now take two weapons on the hunt, hunting horns offer additional capabilities. You can now take a hunting horn and your main weapon, buff yourself with the hunting horn, and switch weapons – the buffs remain active and affect your other weapon.
For example: If you take a hunting horn and a greatsword, you can first play a buffing melody, then switch to the greatsword and continue to enjoy the buff from the horn. This offers a good opportunity for groups without a hunting horn main and solo hunters not to miss out on the buffs.
Favorites Menu
The menu in Monster Hunter can sometimes be bulky or confusing. It’s great that there’s an option to mark favorites. To do this, go into the menu and open the submenu. There you will find a point that allows you to edit the tabs and set items as favorites for quicker access.
This way, you can assemble a menu that lists exactly the items you need more often. Thus, the lengthy rummaging through menus and submenus comes to an end at least partially.
Versatile Barrels
We just touched on the barrels: If you love them, you will enjoy this point. You can simply add placed barrels back to your inventory – yes, even the really large ones. You can also roll them into groups of monsters or throw them directly on opponents’ heads.
This gives you more diverse options to showcase your exploding creativity and use the bombs in new ways.
Another cool innovation that may not have caught everyone’s attention brings a new mechanic that comes with Monster Hunter Wilds. With this, some monsters will exhibit new behavior and confront hunters together: Enemies in Monster Hunter Wilds now mimic you and present new challenges to hunters
