So far, Monster Hunter Online is still in open beta and only accessible in Japan. Fans here are eagerly awaiting more material and hope that the title will eventually be playable in western countries. YouTuber rendermax has taken the effort to record and upload the intro cinematics from the game. It shows the first battle against a (beaver?)-like creature and how various NPCs can assist you in battle. Take a look at the video if you want to get an impression of the game.
Whether Monster Hunter Online will ever be released here is still uncertain. So far, there are at least no published plans regarding this, which does not prevent some players from actively working on an English translation, with which hardcore fans can at least understand the essentials.
