This is what it’s about: In World of Warcraft, it’s not just about orcs and humans. The world of Azeroth has long been home to powerful dragons and their brood, the so-called “Dragonflights”. These ancient and powerful beings play an essential role in the story of the Warcraft world.
What role do dragons play in World of Warcraft?
Dragons in World of Warcraft are not just large scaled beasts that fly and breathe fire. Rather, the dragons of Azeroth descend from the five great “Dragon Aspects”. These primordial dragons were once chosen by the mighty Titans and made guardians of the world.
Each dragon was given its own god-like powers to carry out its task. The five aspects are:
- The bronze dragon Nozdormu, the guardian of time.
