With The Quinfall, a new MMORPG started in Early Access on Steam on January 24, 2025. The ambitious game has already received negative feedback during the Closed Beta. It seems that this will continue in Early Access.
What is The Quinfall? The Quinfall comes from the studio Vawraek Technology Inc., founded in 2021. The medieval MMORPG is quite ambitious. As a Pay2Play MMO, the game currently costs €19.50 in Early Access.
On its own Steam page, the game describes itself as a completely new MMORPG experience
, and its graphics are described as a hyper-realistic world with advanced graphics and the latest systems.
The focus is also on the large open world. Additionally, they aim to offer a modern experience in combat, whether PvP or PvE.
Even beforehand, the game received a lot of negative feedback. It seems that this has not improved with the Early Access release. At least when looking at the Steam reviews.

Players complain about server issues and an empty open world
How is The Quinfall received on Steam? The current Steam reviews are overall mostly negative
. Only 22% of the 1,056 reviews are positive (as of January 25, 2025, 1:35 PM). The game has achieved a peak of 6,081 players so far (via SteamDB).
The most current problems seem to be with the servers. According to the reviews, there are login issues and server errors that sometimes make playing impossible.
Many players are also unconvinced by the world, which is said to be quite empty, and the advertised graphics. User Floki (via Steam) even compares the title to the flop The Day Before. It doesn’t help that the game is offered as early access. User deufoev (via Steam) writes in his review that as a “paying customer,” one can expect certain standards even in early access.
Some of the few positive reviews say that one should wait and see how the game develops. At least some aspects are quite good. Other positive voices seem more like joke reviews, as a thread on reddit shows.
How are the developers responding? On the official Discord server of the game, the developers have addressed the server issues. They state that they are aware of the problems and are actively working to solve them.
