Over the years and decades, MMORPGs have developed new gameplay mechanics and especially classes. Where in the beginning there were only the basic principles of warriors, mages, and rogues, which were simply copied 1:1 from pen & paper rulebooks, increasingly complex classes have been developed over the years. Strange creations like bards, mesmerizers, or ninjas are now present in more and more games.
Our YouTuber partner Refaser has created a Top 10 and presents to you his 10 favorite classes. Most major games like World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, or Blade & Soul are represented in the list. Just take a look at his video:
Cortyn says: I agree with a large part of his list. Especially the mesmerizer really impressed me at the time and led to many PvP nights in Guild Wars 2 (which my PC at the time couldn’t handle at all – but hey, it was fun). However, I would disagree with his number 1, the Paladin from World of Warcraft. I don’t like the tank spec at all, as I find it quite boring – but tastes vary.
