A Reddit user played 18,000 hours Elder Scrolls Online to complete all achievements of the MMORPG. Now he shares the result of his grind.
Many MMORPG players invest thousands of play hours, numerous years of their lives, and a lot of gray matter into the grind of a single game – after all, you can also spend a lot of time on titles like WoW, Old School Runescape, and The Elder Scrolls Online.
Some players, however, pursue specific goals during their grind, such as reaching the highest level, collecting all legendary items, or completing all achievements. The latter was undertaken by an ESO player who shared his success on Reddit after years of grinding.
What exactly has the player accomplished? A player named Ch3mical wrote in the subreddit of The Elder Scrolls Online that he had completed all achievements of the MMORPG. An attached screenshot also shows that he has 59,465 achievement points, which supports his statement.
In the comments, a Reddit user asked how many play hours Ch3mical had in The Elder Scrolls Online and how long he had been playing the MMORPG.
Ch3mical replied that he has 18,000 play hours and has been playing since the “Summerset” add-on, which was released in May 2018 and expanded the MMORPG with a new area and a raid.
Among the achievements of ESO are some really tough challenges, such as the achievement “God Slayer of Sunspire”, which only a small fraction of the total player base has completed.
But not only in The Elder Scrolls Online are there players who invest a lot of time and effort into the grind and celebrate the result after thousands of hours.
A player of the MMORPG Old School RuneScape even invested almost 40,000 hours for his goal to bring all skills of the game to max level:
