Amazon MMORPG New World regularly shows us new screenshots from the game. This week, for the first time, we see not forest landscapes, but ruins and a temple complex.
What can you expect in the new area? In the latest screenshots, the New World team presents you with Weaver’s Fen. By the name, the area will likely feature a swampy or marshy landscape.
The first image also clearly shows this. There we see not only the ruins but also dead trees and a misty landscape. This fits well with the theme of a marsh.
Another image shows us more of an ancient temple complex. Since we, as players, are exploring a new continent, we can assume that there was already a civilization before us.
Similar to the real world, there could have also been old human tribes on the continent. Whether they still exist and whether they are friendly or hostile towards us, we do not know yet.
What has been shown from other areas? In previous editions of Screenshot Saturdays, we primarily saw forests and open grasslands.
Two weeks ago, everything revolved around Brightwood. Appropriate for the current season, very autumnal forest images were presented.
Previously, the mysterious city “Damned Capital” was introduced to us with very dark screenshots.
New players sought for the Alpha of New World
Amazon has also called for players to register for the Alpha of New World once again. In this context, they shared an image on social media, listing all the steps to register:

According to a leak a few days ago, there are currently around 10,000 Alpha testers. The Italian player also reported that the game is supposed to have more MMORPG elements than many media currently report.
