There’s movement regarding the release of the MMORPG Lost Ark in Russia. The publisher Mail.Ru is now offering founder packages for sale.
What do the packages offer? In total, there are three packages that provide different content for the MMORPG Lost Ark. Exclusive content includes:
- Early access to the game
- Participation in the Closed Beta
- Special titles in the game and in official forums, as well as some exclusive items
It is also interesting that the Adventurer and Pioneer set allows you to create a character three days before launch.
Additionally, you will receive some practical consumables that are meant to make the start of the game more pleasant. However, these items can also be unlocked in Lost Ark itself. They include:
- Tickets that grant you access to the Chaos Dungeon. Normally, you receive three such tickets daily, so it’s a little bonus on top.
- Cards for the in-game card game
- Revival feathers, which are typically received through daily or weekly quests
- Cosmetic items are also included in a wardrobe chest.
- A mount as a steed in the Pioneer set.
- The blessing of Beatrice for 30 days, allowing you to travel faster at sea with your ship

- Wanderer Set: €13,60
- Adventurer Set: €35,39
- Pioneer Set: €44,92
The release is approaching
What does this mean for the game? The sale of founder packages is often a good indicator that at least the testing phases should be starting soon.
So it could be that the Russian players will be able to test Lost Ark soon. However, this is not certain as no official date has been mentioned yet.
Are there already hints at a test phase? Mail.ru is currently still tight-lipped about a beta for the MMORPG. Besides the note that the publisher is taking care of the distribution of Lost Ark in Russia, no information about a start date has been provided.
Will there be a wipe after the Closed Beta? Yes. Progress will be reset at the end of the Closed Beta, and players will have to start over for the Open Beta.
What payment model will Lost Ark have in Russia? The game will be released as a Free2Play title. You can buy items through an item shop, but nothing is known about this yet.
A reason for joy for us too
What could this mean for us? It is still unclear when Lost Ark will launch here. Perhaps they are waiting for the release in Russia first, in order to develop the appropriate plans.
If Lost Ark is released in Russia, it will likely bring us a significant step closer to a launch here.
Can we play the Russian version? Currently, it is still unclear whether the version will have a regional lock. If so, it may not be possible to participate. However, without a regional lock, we could also enjoy the MMORPG – provided one is proficient in the Russian language.
