What is the problem with Lost Ark? Since March, Lost Ark has been facing a massive issue with bots farming gold to sell it for real money. There have already been several waves of bans, with over a million such accounts being suspended, but the problem has continued to worsen.
In recent weeks, the problem reached its worst state yet, and players not only had to fight against rising inflation, bots in the game, and real money trading but also with queues to the servers that were flooded with automated characters.
These not only disrupt the open world, but also the economy massively. Amazon has long done little to address this, and a user on reddit even proudly showed how he operates over 100 bots simultaneously because they can do nothing anyway. But now the publisher is reacting and announcing drastic changes.
What is Amazon already doing? Just recently, a community manager confirmed in the Lost Ark forum that players using the bots for their own gain will also be punished. So if you buy gold from bots, you could not only lose your account, but also have to work off a lot of debts.

How is Amazon reacting now? On the night of June 15, community manager Roxx announced a large-scale wave of bans in the forum. However, Roxx also emphasizes that it could happen that your accounts are also wrongfully shut down.
