The Elder Scrolls Online is now starting the prologue to the upcoming expansion Elsweyr. In the prologue, you lay the foundation for the ongoing Dragon Season. You can play ESO with the current expansion Summer-Set for a limited time, even if you haven’t purchased it.
What can you experience now in ESO? Those who know the trailer for Elsweyr are aware that the imperial mage Abnur Tharn must have somehow come into possession of the Wrathstone. It was retrieved in the two Wrathstone DLC dungeons.
In a special questline, you will now follow in ESO how the stone comes to the mage and how the events in the upcoming expansion Elsweyr unfold.
How do you get the quests? The Elsweyr prologue quest is free, and every player can obtain it in two ways:
- Get the quest scroll for free in the Crown Store and start the quest this way.
- Go to the imperial courier Anais Davaux in the first city of your alliance (Vulkhelwacht, Dolchsturz, or Davons Wacht).
What’s up for grabs? When you have completed the quest, you will not only know how the catastrophe with the dragons happened. You will also receive a cool item that allows you to summon illusion dragons as a consolation.

In addition, there is then a daily quest that you can find from Zahiri in Grathwald on the path to Elsweyr. As a reward, there are chests that may contain valuable loot.
