The new PC MMORPG Elyon (formerly A:IR – Ascent: Infinite Realm) focuses on PvP. And here you can experience massive battles.
What is Elyon? The MMORPG takes place in a steampunk world. Here you can expect quests and super fast battles against monsters. There are also adventures in dungeons. You can tackle these challenges together with friends.
However, the focus of the MMORPG is on large PvP battles. The developers have now explained how these take place in a new video:

How do the battles unfold? Faction PvP between the parties The Vulpin Council and The Ontari Union is at the center of Elyon. In the faction wars, two teams of 150 players each face off against each other. This means 300 players are battling against each other in such a fight. There are always three matches per war taking place at the same time.
However, not only regular weapons are used. You can, for example, climb into mechs and intervene in the battle that way. There are also sieges where siege weapons play a major role.
Furthermore, PvE plays a role in the faction wars. This means you fight not only enemy players but also monsters that appear on the battlefield.
In the end, the faction that has earned the most points when time runs out wins.
When do the faction wars take place? According to the developer studio, you will always experience such a war from Friday throughout the entire weekend.
When is Elyon coming out? The release is scheduled for 2021 in the USA and Europe. We do not yet know the exact date. However, the English website was recently updated, which could indicate that new information is coming soon – possibly regarding an international beta.
