Players are not thrilled
What does the Season Pass mean? Standing Stone Games, the developers of Dungeons & Dragons Online and The Lord of the Rings Online, are confident that their MMORPG will run for at least another two years. Fans can therefore expect new content to be released in the coming two years.
This is how players react: The fans of Dungeons & Dragons Online have not shown much enthusiasm for this offer in the official forum. They consider it to be far too expensive. Especially since other MMORPGs offer a lifetime subscription for similar amounts. Moreover, there seems to be no savings compared to the regular VIP account.
This is the state of Dungeons & Dragons Online: The MMORPG has now been around for 12 years. A small fan community remains loyal to the game. But as can be seen from Steamcharts, this community is not very large and is steadily shrinking.
