The MMORPG classic Runescape has received a new skill after four years. With Archaeology, you explore five excavation sites and can feel like Indiana Jones.
What kind of skill is this? It is Archaeology. The 28th skill of the still very popular MMORPG Runescape gradually leads you to five excavation sites that you explore and where you can unearth ancient relics.
A Very Interesting Skill
How do you get the skill and what does it bring? You go to the Archaeologist Guild and train there. From level 5, the first excavation site will be unlocked. The skill can be developed up to level 120. This brings you various advantages. You unlock new excavation sites and become a true master archaeologist.

- Level 20 – Excavation Site: Hell’s Spring
- Level 42 – Excavation Site: Eternal Light
- Level 68 – Binding Contracts of the Ancient Summoning. Required Mystery: Thanks, Dagon

- Level 76 – Excavation Site: Warforge

How do you use the skill? You need a pickaxe to dig up artifacts, dirt, and materials at the excavation sites. You can give the artifacts to private collectors, donate them to the Varrock Museum, or keep them and take them apart for invention components.

How is the new skill received by the players? The Runescape community is excited that they finally got a new skill after four years that is also so interesting.
