With Blade & Soul, another MMORPG is now getting a battle royale mode. However, it is only available for a short time and includes plenty of PvE content.
What is the battle royale in Blade & Soul all about? Blade & Soul is actually a fast-paced action MMORPG from South Korea. However, with the new update “The Legacy of Hongmoon”, this game is also getting a PvP mode in battle royale format.
Battle Royale with PvE and time-limited
How does the battle royale proceed? The battle royale mode in Blade & Soul is called “Islands of Vengeance”. Here, 20 players compete against each other. Only skill counts. The notorious “Dark Chi” serves as a death zone, which is constantly spreading.
Along the way, you will also encounter plenty of PvE monsters. The player who remains last wins and receives special rewards. Additionally, there are bonuses and buffs to be found. You also earn them by defeating certain monsters.
When does the battle royale take place? The Islands of Vengeance are not permanently accessible. Rather, the mode is only usable for 1 hour each time, starting at 12:00, 14:00, 17:00, 20:00, and 23:00 server time. To participate, you must have reached level 55.
In total, you can only play the mode during the period from March 13 – April 10, 2019. So you have to act quickly since the battle royale will probably not stay permanently in Blade & Soul.
