The Asia MMORPG Astellia will enter its second Closed Beta this July. The developers have now informed us about the date and new content.
When does the second Closed Beta start? The second Closed Beta of Astellia will open on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, starting at 9:00 AM German time.
The Beta will run until Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at 5:00 PM. So you have just over a week to test the game.
How do I participate in the Beta? For the second Beta, there will be keys available, as with the first, that you can win. Therefore, you should definitely keep an eye on Astellia’s social media channels.
A guaranteed participation in the second Closed Beta can be obtained through the Platinum or the Legendary Founder’s Package. Both give you early access to the game, as well as special rewards and a key for the second Closed Beta.

- The Legendary Package costs 99.99 euros
Astellia itself will be Buy2Play, so you will also need to pay around 30 euros for regular game access.
Can the Beta be streamed? There is no NDA on the Astellia test. Even the first Beta was extensively used by streamers. You can also check out our livestream recording on MAX.
More Focus on PvP and the Shop
What’s new in the second Beta? In the first Closed Beta, the PvE areas, crafting, and even the legendary dungeons could already be tested. We took a close look at these contents for you.
The second Beta shifts its focus a bit more towards PvP. The area Avalon, which can be compared to the “World vs. World” from Guild Wars 2, will be extensively tested.
Additionally, the real-money shop will be introduced, which will be scrutinized. This will determine whether Astellia can keep its promise of not being pay-to-win.
Are there adjustments compared to the first Beta? The developers have thoroughly evaluated the feedback from the first Beta. There should already be adjustments to mana regeneration, the speed of progress, and the difficulty of dungeons.
When will Astellia be released? So far, there is no official release date for the MMORPG. However, it is definitely slated for release in 2019. The current target is the third quarter.
