The MMORPG Astaria has been developed by one person for three years. This individual has an interesting vision that resembles more of a Pen & Paper role-playing game.
What is Astaria? The MMORPG places great importance on social interaction in groups. In the sandbox, you have a lot of freedom, but teamwork is always important.
- You fight together as a server against the impending darkness.
- You create your heroes from six classes.
- The quests and battles are designed for groups.
- In the team, you use powerful combo attacks.
- There are no disadvantages to acting in a party.
- Crafting plays an important role.
- It is necessary to conquer areas that are occupied by monsters.
Players versus Developers
What is special about Astaria? Not only is the MMORPG developed by just one person, but it also features an interesting approach that strongly resembles Pen & Paper RPGs.
The game uses a so-called PvD system, Players versus Developer. In this setup, the developer continually intervenes in the game, alters situations based on the actions of the community. This is intended to create a vibrant world where players constantly need to adapt to new challenges.
What else does the game offer? Astaria aims to be a hardcore challenge. This means that survival elements like eating and drinking are important and you must heal wounds.
Your items can break or you lose everything you had when you are defeated in battle.
In general, the difficulty level is meant to be very high.

It’s starting soon!
When will Astaria come out? The MMORPG will start its early access phase on June 14. You will then be able to play on Steam.
What payment model does the game use? Astaria will be released as a Buy2Play game at a price of €19.99. After the early access phase, the price is expected to increase.
