Firefall, the free-to-play shooter, is getting its first group dungeon with patch 1.2 – at least that is what the developer Red5 announced on the official homepage. Furthermore, PvP players will be happy, as they can now earn rewards through quests.
Group Dungeon: “Operation: Miru”

While the endgame content of Firefall was previously determined by campaign missions in co-op, this is set to change with patch 1.2. The developer integrates the first group dungeon for five players into the free shooter game. Adventurers at level 40 can choose one of two sides in Operation: Miru. Depending on the decision, the further course of the battles within the instance will be influenced. The dungeon is hidden in the Devil’s Tooth area.
What else is coming?
PvP has been more of an open-world affair in Firefall, and that will remain the case for now. Nevertheless, Red5 is thinking of the PvP players and is providing quests, gameplay improvements, and PvP world events. While the PvE lovers are rather roaming through the depths of Operation: Miru, the PvP players are fighting each other and are rewarded in the form of quest rewards. In the meantime, players are racing with their LBFs on marked tracks. These can already be tested on the test servers, while other content is still waiting. An exact release date is not yet known.
