What is Magic: Legends? The new MMO takes place in the universe of the card game series Magic: The Gathering and resembles the gameplay of Diablo.
You take on the role of a Planeswalker, a powerful wizard who can jump between various worlds. You have 5 different classes to choose from. The first two classes have already been presented.
From an isometric perspective, you then fight in hack and slash against massive hordes of monsters. The special feature is that there will be no traditional loot. Instead, you will receive cards that you can assemble into a deck before each mission.
Was Magic: Legends not supposed to become an MMORPG? Originally, Magic: Legends was announced as an Action MMORPG. However, we now know that the direction of the game has changed.
The developers consciously opted for an Action RPG format, as summoning many creatures is intended to play an important role. To fit this, the isometric perspective was introduced for better visibility.
