One of the probably greatest long-term hits in video game history is likely Minecraft. This is not only due to its relaxing gameplay and the seemingly endless possibilities, but also because of the modding community that continually creates their own variations of the game or particularly stylish texture packs. One of these texture packs has gained great respect in the community and triggered a lot of reactions.
This texture pack consists of all blocks made from other Minecraft blocks.
What makes this texture pack so special? At first glance, the “Blocks in Blocks” pack hardly differs from the standard skin that blocks have in Minecraft. Only when you take a closer look do you realize that the individual textures of the blocks are composed of numerous smaller blocks. This mainly causes confusion when you are close to the blocks.

Texture pack consumes a lot of performance: Anyone who wants to use this resource pack should have a solid computer. Because despite the minimalist graphics, Minecraft consumes quite a lot of RAM with high-resolution texture packs. For comparison: The standard pack has a resolution of 16×16 (=256) per block side, while the “Block in Block” pack has a resolution of 256×256 (=65,536) – it is therefore 256 times larger than the standard textures.
