Minecraft Earth has finally launched – at least in the first countries. In Germany, we still have to be patient, but it won’t be long.
When Minecraft Earth was announced a few months ago, the excitement was high. Many players are already eager to place their Minecraft creations made of various blocks all over the world and pave the world with buildings alongside friends. The development team has now taken the first big step, as Minecraft Earth is entering Early Access! However, it’s not yet available in Germany…
The first gameplay of Minecraft Earth was shown here back then.
What can you do in Early Access? In the Early Access of Minecraft, most features of the game are already available. You can definitely undertake the following activities:
- “Tabletop Builds” that you can work on together
- Interactable objects (“Tappables”) all over the world that provide resources
- Survival adventures with monster hunting
This covers the core features of Minecraft Earth that have also made regular Minecraft great: freedom and creativity.
In which countries is the game available? Currently, Minecraft Earth is in Early Access in Iceland and New Zealand. There, interested players could already download and try Minecraft Earth.
When will Minecraft Earth launch in Germany? There is no exact date for the release of Minecraft Earth in the German-speaking region yet. Officially, it is said that Minecraft Earth “will live up to its name in the coming weeks” and will then be available in more countries. This will include Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The rollout will occur in several waves.
As soon as there is a concrete date for the release of Minecraft Earth in Germany, we will of course report on it.
Are you looking forward to the release of Minecraft Earth and will you play right at launch? Or would you rather wait for a warmer season?
