Minecraft Dungeons is a standalone game that puts you in the role of an adventurer exploring caves and fighting monsters. The focus is on constantly collecting loot that can be found in various rarities. The game is played from an isometric perspective, making Minecraft Dungeons very reminiscent of hack ‘n’ slashes like Diablo. However, due to the simple voxel graphics and humor, it is a family-friendly version of the otherwise very dark games of the genre. The game was released on May 26, 2020, and there was no crossplay available at launch.
