What we expected from the conference: Before the start of E3, countless rumors and leaks circulated regarding the new games, features, and consoles that we would see.
Alongside the expected big titles like Halo Infinite and Cyberpunk 2077, fans were also anticipating some unannounced titles as usual.
It was also speculated that Microsoft would introduce its new console for the first time: the next Xbox. So it was going to be an exciting conference.
What Microsoft announced: Several major games were the focus at Microsoft:
- Elden Ring: The new title from FromSoftware, created in collaboration with J.R.R. Martin
- Halo Infinite
- Gears of War 5
- Cyberpunk 2077
Many new indie games and smaller titles were also showcased. A large portion of them will be available for Xbox Game Pass owners, including Gears of War 5.
However, a new Xbox was not shown. It was only announced that Halo Infinite would be one of the launch titles and that it is four times as powerful as the Xbox One X.
