What do you do when you find yourself stranded on Mars? Of course, you try to survive. And that’s exactly your task in the upcoming online survival game Memories of Mars.
Actually, Mars was quite populated – at least the fictional Mars in the online game “Memories of Mars”. Around 100 years in the future, the Red Planet was the target of colonization. Until something terrible happened. The colonists had to leave Mars, but not everyone managed to be evacuated. You are among the few who were left behind – Why? Because you are not actually a human, but a clone.
Survival on Mars
Memories of Mars is basically a typical survival game set on Mars. As is common in this genre, you collect resources in a hostile environment to craft useful items. In addition, you build a shelter that serves as a storage for your resources and crafted items. Moreover, the shelters are supposed to protect you.
Because many dangers lurk on Mars. These include solar storms that cause significant damage to anyone caught outside during a storm. You combat hunger and cold as well as mysterious NPCs that you occasionally encounter.
Who can you trust?
Furthermore, you will encounter other players and must always act cautiously. Because you never know if another player wants to attack you or cooperate with you. Together you build a larger base and gather resources more quickly. This includes the so-called “Flops” that you can grab during special events and are valuable and useful.
Over time, you will explore more of Mars. The vast, open area is 16 square kilometers and offers 85 locations to explore.

- Establishing a base
- Cooperating with other players
- Fighting NPCs
- PvP
Early Access soon
A Early Access phase of Memories of Mars is expected to start this spring via Steam.
The developers will announce a specific date soon, they are also known for the building game Tropico 6 and the RPG Might and Magic X: Legacy. If you sign up now on the official website for Memories of Mars, you will receive the blueprint for the CZ 457 rifle, which will be useful to you at the beginning of the game.
