We at MeinMMO now have two new features that we want to share with you.
What s new? Some of you may have already noticed: MeinMMO is doing spring cleaning! From now on, you, our readers, can use and customize new profile pages with us.
You can access, view, and try out the new overview by logging in at the top right. Then click on “My Account” there, and you will be directed straight to the new profile.
What does this mean for me? You can now customize your profiles more. The customization options include not only the usual avatar but also:
- of course, your favorite multiplayer games. This way, you can directly access the overview pages of the MMOs and MMORPGs through your profile
- the gaming platforms you own
- your gaming tags for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and Steam
- your social media pages like Twitter or Instagram
- your streaming channels on Twitch and YouTube
You can also make settings for your account, password, and privacy in the profile.
Unfortunately, we were unable to carry over your old avatars from the old system. However, you can easily re-upload them, and they will appear next to your comments as before.
There s also this now: Additionally, we have added a setting for light and dark themes on our site. The “adaptive” option means that the system will automatically switch to dark mode at night between 6:00 PM and 8:00 AM. During the day, the light theme will be presented to you.
The adjustment ensures that you no longer have to switch the modes manually if you want them activated according to the time of day.
You can enable the setting in the dropdown menu of your profile at the top right.
