We are looking for reinforcement for our team immediately. You can now apply for a position at MeinMMO to write daily news independently from home. The focus is on gaming and gaming culture.
MeinMMO was founded in September 2013. Since March 2016, we have been part of Webedia Gaming. We maintain an independent editorial team, most of whom work from their home offices. Both GameStar and MeinMMO and GamePro are part of Webedia Gaming GmbH.
Meanwhile, MeinMMO reaches over 3 million unique users per month according to agof. We have established ourselves as one of the largest German gaming websites within a few years.
What exactly are we looking for?
Are you following the events in gaming with excitement? Which games are about to be released? What is happening with the big publishers? Which games are trending on Twitch or Steam? What are gaming fans discussing on Reddit, Twitter, Discord, and co.? If you feel the urge to answer these questions, this position is for you.
This is what you should bring:
- a great passion for gaming and gaming culture
- it is an advantage if you have already gained experience, such as through your own blog or writing for websites. This is not a must
- a sense for stories that fit MeinMMO
- a willingness to take on news shifts in the evening and/or on weekends
- a strong affinity for platforms where gaming fans interact (Reddit, Twitter, Discord, TikTok, …)
- you master thorough research and are able to verify sources
- high reliability and the urge to develop yourself further
