The team at MeinMMO is looking for reinforcement in our Tech and Hardware department. Apply now for a position with us, where you can independently write news, stories, analyses, guides, and specials on technology and hardware from your home office or in our office in Munich.
What we are looking for: If you are applying for our position as (Junior) Tech Editor, you should be passionate about hardware and technology in the PC and console area.
Do you love optimizing your Nintendo Switch with cases and analog stick grips, or do you like picking up ten controllers for the PlayStation to find the best one?
Do you want to help our readers get the most out of their hardware or even discover new ones – with tips, guides, and creative self-experiments? Then you are in the right place with us!
This is important to us:
- You are fascinated by gaming tech and hardware, e.g., consoles, gaming PCs and laptops, peripherals, or tech gadgets
- Dull news is not for you; you are always looking for exciting stories to inspire many more tech enthusiasts with your content
- You live in practice, not in theory; you enjoy tinkering with settings or seeking creative solutions to hardware problems
- You can explain technical terms and complex topics in an understandable and entertaining way
- You engage with like-minded individuals and immerse yourself in communities to know what the target audience is currently interested in
- You are willing to conduct thorough research and can assess facts with your expertise
- Excellent German skills and good English skills
- You always give your articles a unique spin that makes them enjoyable to read
- You know how to report on tech topics in an informative yet entertaining manner
- You are open to new trends and developments and enjoy learning
- Basic knowledge in SEO, image editing, and/or product photography is a plus, but not a requirement
- Also advantageous, but not required, are initial experiences in the video area, e.g., you have written texts for videos or stood in front of the camera yourself
We would like to fill the position on 01.07.2022. Maybe with you.
