Hello everyone! There has been a lot going on in the MeinMMO editorial team over the past few months. A lot of work, many bad jokes, sometimes a lot of stress, but above all, many new projects. And one of them goes live for the first time today:
MeinMMO.de now has its own Discord server for the community:
In recent years, Discord has grown massively and has developed into one of the largest platforms for all kinds of communities. Online gamers also often and gladly use Discord to better coordinate in the voice channels during matches or to exchange ideas in a large chat about their favorite games.
Therefore, we decided that we also want our own Discord server. To celebrate this, we have prepared a big giveaway for you here, where you just have to join our server:
What is the goal of the server? Primarily, we wanted to provide the growing community of MeinMMO with an active hub where people can meet and exchange ideas. We have noticed several times that new friendships and groups for gaming sessions have formed through the comment function on our site. We want to support that more.
The free Discord app should therefore become a place where you can discuss and laugh about news and stories from the MMO gaming area. Alternatively, you can also organize in groups for gaming sessions and explore the new MMOs together.
Through the specifically set up feedback channel, you can now also give targeted praise and criticism. Do you want us to write about a specific topic? Put your suggestion in the feedback channel.
We also hope that your direct input will help us to make MeinMMO.de as pleasant as possible for you in the future.
What features are there for the users? For the currently popular MMOs, there are separate news and discussion channels. In the news channels, our bot automatically posts the latest articles about the respective game that appear on our site.
You can follow these channels and automatically receive a notification when there is something new about your favorite game.
Currently, you can assign tags that show other players which gaming platforms you own and actively play. For the near future, several fun bots are planned that will bring new commands and features to our server. These include, for example:
- A level-up system with ranks
- Music games with YouTube or Spotify
- Meme bots
You can vote in polls to decide which bot games you would like to see from us. However, if you know a really cool Discord bot that must not be missing on our server, then put your suggestion in the stylish new feedback channel.
Our server is still very young. Therefore, we are open to your feedback regarding the structuring and features.
