Mein-MMO.de has reached another milestone. Now we have 10,000 articles on our site – and you are to blame.
10,000 News, Articles, and Guides
Time flies. From “1 to 2 articles per day” we have long been at “One post every hour” or more, and thus the number of our news per day has also risen rapidly. Today we celebrate a small anniversary, because this article is exactly the 10,000th post that has been published on Mein-MMO.de.
I remember well how we started a few years ago and I thought to myself, “There is a crazy guy who wants to pay me to write about my hobby? Wonderful!” Meanwhile, the whole project has of course become very far from “hobby” for everyone involved and has become a full-time job. I think this is also noticeable in the rise of the quality of our texts – one grows with the tasks.
But amidst all the mumbo-jumbo, chatter, and the “self-patting on the back”, we do not forget that Mein-MMO.de would have gone down the drain a long time ago if we did not have you as readers.
And even if this now reads as if I want to “sweeten the deal” for you, we in the editorial office are all quite happy to have such a reasonable community. If you look at the comments on our site, it is mostly civil. Sure, there are always some verbal slips, but we often keep a close watch on it.
Especially when you look at other news sites, we are quite proud of the climate and manners in our comment section. Where readers on other sites tear each other apart or authors are insulted to such an extent that they simply accept not reading comments anymore, we have reasonable discussions. We are all quite happy about that.
We look forward to 10,000 more posts with and for you. Stay loyal to us and if not, at least make sure it doesn’t come out.
