The firecracker remnants lie on the street, the last late starters are being thrown into the drains by the neighborhood kids, and the new year 2016 has finally begun. Most of the good resolutions have already been broken (“Getting up earlier” at 11:30 AM is just hard to believe for anyone). So let’s not be blinded by unrealistic wishes and hopes, but take one last look at the past year 2015.
We want to know from you what your very personal, most beautiful MMO moments were. Perhaps a particularly difficult boss fight that you mastered with your guild? Did you finally get that one mount you’ve been searching for years? Were you able to rekindle an old friendship through an MMO? Or was there a certain story in a game that captivated you so much that you were simply satisfied?
Cortyn says: Since I am more than just a little dedicated to role-playing, my most beautiful MMO moments also lie in these memories. Traditionally, my favorite moments are here in the various RP situations in World of Warcraft. This year, I spent a lot of time on my Draenei, who has set her mind on leading as many mage apprentices as possible onto the wrong path (and straight into the arms of the Burning Legion). Even though many moments were quite frustrating, it’s those beautiful “moments” when you engage in role-play for 10-12 hours straight and just have fun.
But also aside from that, I had many good memories that others can probably relate to better, even if they will never reach the social interactions of role-playing (at least for me). The thrill and adrenaline rush when facing equally strong enemies in Evolve and still winning with 1% HP as a monster. The interesting plot twists in the latest expansion KotFE of Star Wars: The Old Republic.
