The story of Destiny 1 was ridiculed for its flat dialogue and poorly explained plot twists. The lack of variety was also criticized. With Destiny 2, Bungie aims to do everything better.
The magazine Edge was allowed to look behind the scenes at Bungie and share some information with the gaming community. It is said that there will be more than 80 missions and PvE activities in Destiny 2.
The PvE – Over 80 Missions
Destiny 2 will feature over 80 missions and PvE activities. The report states that each of the activities has sufficient length, story, and reward.

You should be rewarded for what you do and have fun while doing it.
The developers have included so much content that it was discovered during the development process that there was too much content for the scope of gameplay progression. This was then addressed.
Nightfalls with Time Limits and Shield Explosions
Another innovation in Destiny 2 will be the introduction of time limits for Nightfall Strikes. This is intended to encourage Guardians to proceed in a coordinated and efficient manner to complete the Nightfall Strikes. In the past, these Strikes became too easy through exploits – and sometimes took forever. Bungie wants to put a stop to this.
Additionally, certain activities have “Locked Loadouts”. Once started, you cannot change either the subclass or the equipment.

In the beta, we couldn’t also admire how the shields of enemies explode after being shot by energy weapons. Bungie has fixed this for the main game as well. It should be worthwhile to shoot enemy shields with energy weapons since the explosion damages nearby enemies.
Bungie Doesn’t Reveal Everything – Secrecy with the Hunter
Edge has also discovered more exciting things, but they are not allowed to report on them. Only some topics have been vaguely mentioned.
The Hunter is said to feel very good now, but Edge does not go into detail here. They simply state that they were very pleased with the Hunter.

Guardians should also get opportunities to speed up the recharge time for grenades and Super abilities. This should reward a special, aggressive playstyle. A new exotic armor for the Warlock was mentioned as an example, which allows it to hover in the air and greatly speed up grenade recharge when getting kills in the air.
What do you think of the many PvE activities? Just right or too much? Let us know in the comments!
