The latest Alpha update for Battle for Azeroth brought even more Vulpera customizations. Will they become a new playable WoW race?
Shortly after the first trailer of “Battle for Azeroth” at BlizzCon 2017, many players of World of Warcraft had fallen in love with a new species. The Vulpera are humanoid foxes that will surely make the hearts of every furry friend beat faster.
Since the first images of this species, there has been a rumor in the community that the Vulpera could become an allied race that can be unlocked for the Alliance in the Battle for Azeroth expansion. After all, Alliance players encounter this faction while questing in Kul Tiras and solving the country’s problems. Some of the quest givers will be the Vulpera.
These speculations about playability were only fueled further when data miners discovered that Vulpera are in the same folder as many other playable races.
The latest Alpha patch raises hopes even further. Because here, Vulpera received numerous customization options, such as new face shapes, fur colors, snouts, and ears.
This gives the Vulpera more customization options than some player races in World of Warcraft!
However, it must be noted that until Blizzard confirms it, it is just a wish of the fans. While all these features suggest that Vulpera will become playable, there is no guarantee. It is quite possible that Blizzard wants to use all these things only for Vulpera NPCs, as they have already done with other races. However, the chances are good that someday fox people will roam the areas of the Alliance.
Do you wish for playable Vulpera in WoW: Battle for Azeroth? Or can you not get along with the fox beings?
