There are many nerfs in World of Warcraft. The current raid bosses are significantly weakened – but Tazavesh is also becoming less dangerous.
Meanwhile, the current raid of World of Warcraft, the Mausoleum of the First, has been open for several weeks now. However, the developers are still regularly rolling out new nerfs and adjustments to weaken the bosses or adjust mechanics. The latest hotfixes affect 6 of the 11 bosses, all of which are losing a bit of power – in many cases across all difficulty levels.
What has changed? A lot. Overall, 6 of the 11 bosses have been weakened, while some others have received bug fixes and at least neutral adjustments. All changes in detail are:
- Attentive Guardian
- The spawn rates of various adds have been reduced on mythic difficulty.
- The grace period at the start of Revealed Core has been increased across all difficulties.
- Constructor Xy’mox
- Xy’mox now has 15% less health on mythic difficulty.
- Ancient Emission now deals the correct damage on the last platform.
- Prototype Pantheon
- Burden of Sin deals 20% less damage on normal and heroic difficulty.
- A bug has been fixed that caused Wilted Seedlings not to be cast.
- An unfair timer has been adjusted that caused Hand of Destruction and Night Hunter to overlap.
- Halondrus the Resurrected
- The initial damage of Reclaim has been reduced by 10% in LFR, normal, and heroic difficulty.
- The additional speed that Ethereal Particles gain during Eternity Surge has been reduced by 50% in LFR, normal, and heroic difficulty.
- The damage scaling of Eternity Surge has been reduced in LFR, normal, and heroic difficulty.
- Earthbreaker missiles deal 15% less damage in LFR and normal difficulty.
- A bug has been fixed where the periodic effect of Light Shard Ray dealt the incorrect amount of damage.
- Anduin Wrynn
- Anduin Wrynn has 5% less health on normal and heroic difficulty.
- The health of Anduin’s Despair has been reduced by 25% on normal and heroic difficulty.
- Army of the Dead from the remains of the fallen king now always summons a Monstrous Soul per intermission on heroic difficulty.
- Deceitful Star deals 20% less damage on normal and heroic difficulty.
- The visual effect of Rain of Despair has been updated.
- Lords of Terror
- Fallen Banner of Lordaeron is back in the loot table.
- Rygelon
- A bug has been fixed that caused Cosmic Emission to hit players outside the intended radius.
- The Jailer
- A bug has been fixed that caused Desecrate to deal the correct damage. Therefore, the damage has been increased by 85% on heroic difficulty.
Overall, most bosses should now be significantly tamer and at least forgive minor mistakes.
What else has happened? Aside from the changes to the Mausoleum of the First, the hotfix also included a whole bunch of adjustments for the two Tazavesh dungeons regarding baggage. Especially the strong spells of the enemies, which have knocked many players out on higher key levels with one or two shots, are now weaker. There are nerfs between 15% and a whopping 50% – so Tazavesh should no longer be immediately regarded as a “dead key”.
Also with the hotfix came the change to the weekly reward chest, which can now give socket items.
What do you think of the adjustments? Do they make it possible for you to take down one of the bosses you previously failed to defeat?
