Developer Riot Games now wants to excite its fans with a board game in the style of League of Legends.
With a board game, the developers from Riot Games want to showcase a completely new style of play with familiar characters from League of Legends. Just like “oldschool” you control the characters by hand on a game board. You can choose to play as Corki, Heimerdinger, Tristana, and Ziggs. With these Yordles, you can play Mechs vs Minions cooperatively with 2-4 players and your friends.
Mechs vs Minions available in October
After 3 years of work, a small team from Riot Games has completed the board game Mechs vs Minions. The story behind the game revolves around some of the Yordles from League of Legends. Rumble has invited Corki, Tristana, Ziggs, and Heimerdinger to his school to learn how to use their new Mechs. These Mechs help you fend off the evil minions that want to attack Runeterra. In the campaign, the Yordles must work together to fend off the nasty minions.
In the campaign, there will often be chaotic situations where you have to try to make the right decisions. The game is expected to be available on October 23rd. The price is about $75 plus shipping costs.
