The company McDonald’s has introduced a new gaming chair. It is a rather peculiar product and is only available in limited quantities. What the chair is supposed to offer is presented to you by MeinMMO in this article.
Meanwhile, there are plenty of gaming-related accessories available. In addition to mouse and keyboard, you can buy chairs, cushions, and other equipment.
Now McDonald’s, the well-known operator and franchisor of fast food restaurants, has introduced a new chair on Facebook (via facebook.com). New Gaming Chair from McDonald’s Aims to Impress You with Food Features
The chair named “McDonald’s McCrispy Ultimate Gaming Chair” is yellow and black, reflecting the typical design of McDonald’s. It is not known with whom the franchise giant collaborated for the chair. In addition to the standard structure known from gaming chairs, there are a few special features:
- The chair has a French fries holder and a sandwich warmer.
- Additionally, there are recesses where you can place dips. The well-known plastic containers with ketchup or mayo from McDonald’s fit in here.
Whether gamers really need such features at their PC is another question. Hot fat only partially agrees with mouse and keyboard. And MeinMMO author Cortyn would probably be furious if one considers the possibility of handling mouse, keyboard, or controller with greasy fingers:

Can you buy this chair? No, officially there is only one chair available in a raffle. Only people from England, Wales, and Scotland can participate. Two runner-ups will receive McCrispy neon lights (via mcdonalds.com).
The chair is not officially available in stores, so there is no price for the model. However, there are rumors that McDonald’s may have distributed a few chairs to Twitch streamers.
McDonald’s Keeps Trying with Gaming
What else is McDonald’s doing? The gaming chair is not the first idea to engage with gaming. For instance, there was a collaboration in Australia with Overwatch 2, where a code for special skins was included with certain menus.
Additionally, there are regular extensive collaborations between Pokémon and McDonald’s, and there are frequently trading cards in Happy Meals, and a few years ago McDonald’s locations transformed into PokéStops.
Just recently, another McDonald’s product gained a lot of attention. A customer had put a simple Chicken McNugget up for sale online and received almost $40,000 for it. The piece of meat looks like a character from Among Us.
