Aion – Kromede and the Fire Temple
The MMO classic Aion is also from NCSoft and thus cannot be missing in Master X Master. From the online role-playing game with flying heroes, the map “Fire Temple” comes to Master X Master. Those who know Aion know who the final boss of this challenging instance is: Kromede, the asmodian Daeva.
If we play through the Fire Temple in Master X Master, we unlock Kromede. The voluptuous lady is a deadly archer and can particularly deal damage over time. A truly nasty character who ensures death and disaster from a distance.
Lineage 1 and 2 – Cuddly Cats and Death Knights
Oldie Lineage 1 (1998) is the flagship game at NCSoft, the World of Warcraft of the Korean publisher. The second part from 2003 is also a hit. Of course, it’s clear that content from the Lineage franchise appears in Master X Master. The beginning is with Lineage 2. It introduces the fluffy cat creature “Kat the Tomcat” as a hero. The kitty is delightfully cute and plays as a hybrid role between support and damage dealer.
In contrast to the cute cat, Lineage 1 sends a death knight into battle – nobody has ever called him cute.
If you are currently dealing with the upcoming Lineage Eternal, you should quickly recognize the grim skeletal figure: It’s the same bone servant who dismantled opponents in the trailer for the Korea beta of Lineage Eternal. As a map, we get the instance “Ant Hill” from Lineage 2 in Master X Master.
WildStar – Fear the Hamster!
WildStar may not be the most successful NCSoft title, but the colorful MMORPG features a fun background world and wacky races and characters. The coolest and craziest beings in WildStar are the Chua. These hamster creatures appear cute at first glance, but upon closer inspection, they turn out to be ruthless, corrupted, and filled with sadistic glee.
The worst and most gleeful of these tiny devils is the great Mondo Zax, Head Hamster and Chief of D.R.E.D. the “Dominion Research and Experimental Division.” He loves to conduct experiments on unfortunate victims. In Master X Master, “the Zax” acts like a tech pioneer from WildStar. He has bots providing support and shoots around with his big gun. However, a special WildStar map is currently still not in the game.
