In Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone should actually have an event to get excited about the upcoming Pacific map in Warzone. What was this event about? In the multiplayer mode of CoD Vanguard and in Warzone, a special event for the new Pacific map in Warzone was supposed to start on November 24, 2021. In “Secrets of the Pacific,” 12 challenges were supposed to be offered in both games. In Warzone, players had to visit certain locations, for example.
There were double XP tokens and the chance to earn a special legendary blueprint for the powerful STG44 assault rifle.
Players were in good spirits and motivated on the evening of November 24, ready to start. But then everything turned out differently.
Players wonder how this small event can cause so much trouble
What went wrong? Massive game problems ruined the fun for everyone. The event was hardly playable, as the game was constantly crashing. The exact cause was not clearly identified. Some players claimed that the notorious attack dogs were to blame, as the crash would always occur when someone released the dogs.
According to other reports, however, it was not the dogs but something else. The developers were apparently unable to identify the error immediately and therefore had to throw in the towel. After not even one hour, the event and the associated challenges had to be removed from the game.
What do players say? Many players are expressing their frustration on Twitter. They don’t understand how an event that consists of just a dozen challenges can cause such massive problems.
Imagine adding an “event” to the game that literally changes nothing about gameplay or anything similar, and still manages to ruin the game.

Additionally, many people are annoyed that something is always broken or just annoying in Vanguard. One player is still frustrated that you can summon the already annoying dogs multiple times because an item is buggy.
What do the developers say? The developers have stated via Twitter that they are on it and are working as quickly as possible on a solution. They will let players know when everything is working again.
However, time is running out for them, as the event is only supposed to last until December 8, 2021. After a delay, the new Pacific map in Warzone is set to go live and Vanguard is to merge with Warzone.
