Currently, a beta version of Marvel’s Avengers is running on the PS4 for pre-orderers. You can test characters and the first missions of the action game there. However, a special hidden mission is waiting, and we will tell you how to find it.
What kind of mission is this? The mission is located in the Snowy Tundra in Siberia, which you have already visited while playing the single-player story of Kamala Khan or Hulk.
Your task in the hidden mission is to open the SHIELD bunker, which is equipped with a puzzle, while defending it against oncoming enemies.
In return, you will be rewarded with plenty of equipment and resources, as well as an exciting mission that must be completed in co-op mode.
How to unlock the hidden mission
To unlock it, you need to visit a special location in the “Stark Realities” mission, which is located in the Northwestern Pacific region.
This location will not be marked as a “Point of Interest” on the map, and you will need to find it using the Signal Locator. You will receive this locator through the mission in the Snowy Tundra. However, it only activates when you reach a certain place:
- From the start of the mission, look towards the mission marker and head left.
- You should quickly come across a wall of stones that marks the edge of the map. Continue following this wall to the left from the perspective of the mission marker.
- Eventually, you will see a cliff on your left, and the locator will start beeping. Follow the signal until you find a hidden switch. This will open access to a bunker where there is a crate. Open it.
- After that, a pop-up should appear with the discovered area, similar to when you collect equipment.

What happens next? In the next step, you need to return to the War Table where you can select your missions. There should now be a plus sign available to access the Snowy Tundra.
There you can then enter the new mission.
A cool mission where you should explore everything first
What happens in the mission? You land back on the map that you already know from the story mission. However, this time there are a few new Points of Interest and equipment that you can find.
To complete the mission, you need to find the SHIELD bunker again with the help of the locator. However, take your time to look around, because completing the mission will cause it to disappear from your War Table.
In the bunker, you must fend off waves of enemies while interacting with several computers in the correct order to bypass the security protocols and open the vault in the bunker:
- Computers 1 and 3 are located on the right side of the room, 2 and 4 on the left. Computer 5 is also on the left but in another room behind a small wall.
- When you activate the security protocols, you must interact with the consoles in the correct order. You have 45 seconds to do this.
- However, the timer can be reset anytime if you walk back to the bunker door.
- In total, you must complete 3 sequences, each time involving more consoles. But don’t worry: Each completed sequence is saved, so you only need to successfully input it once.
- However, the attackers include hackers who can reset your sequences. Therefore, focus on taking out these hackers first.
Once you have opened the vault, plenty of loot awaits you. However, the mission will also disappear from your War Table after completion.

Can you start it again? Yes, however, you need to re-enter the “Stark Realities” mission, search for the hidden chest, and thereby re-unlock the mission.
