When does the closed beta for pre-order customers start? The beta will be rolled out in three stages on three different dates for all platforms. The catch is that PC and Xbox players will have to wait longer:
- August 7 – The beta for pre-order customers starts on PS4
- August 14 – Pre-order beta for PC and Xbox One, open beta for PS4
When does the open beta start? Also, those who want to try the game as part of the beta will have to wait longer – until this date:
- August 21 at 9:00 PM local time – Open beta for everyone
How to get access to the Marvel’s Avengers beta – Here’s how you can participate
Pre-order and play the beta early: For the pre-order betas, you must have purchased the game in advance.
It doesn’t matter which of the up to four possible editions you buy. The cheapest way to participate is the Standard Edition, which you can get for
- €69.99 on PS4 and Xbox One
- and €59.99 for PC (Steam).

The heroes: You can try out the following four characters:

They all have 3 skill trees, but only one can be used in the beta.
The content: After a 25-minute prologue in which you relive the events of A-Day, you initially have access to 2 single-player missions – the so-called Hero Missions.
After these missions, there are three content types: HARM Rooms, Warzones, and Dropzones, which can be completed either solo with AI or in co-op with other players. You can also get a preview of the multiplayer.

In Marvel’s Avengers, you control the characters of the titular superhero team, including renowned heroes like Ms. Marvel. Four heroes form a team that must fight through various missions.
